According to the 1901 and 1911 census Alfred J. Thorogood and his wife Kate E. Thorogood lived at “The Shanty” in Keston – which was listed as their postal address.
Could you tell me where The Shanty is–is it the name of the road or is it a house?
I’ve been trying to locate this on a map without much success. If it is a house does it still exist? I look forward to hearing from you.

Good evening,
I have a Client who is interested in information on the Glenwood House on Pine Glade. He’s trying to find information on the Architect however, thus far we have been unsuccessful in finding information on who originally designed the home. Do you have any information on designers or Architects that either worked on this home or any of the similar buildings in the Keston area?
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
Sincerely,
Nicole Murdy
