PLEASE WRITE TO BROMLEY COUNCIL OR COMPLETE THE PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON THE PROPOSED EXTRA OPERATING HOURS FOR BIGGIN HILL AIRPORT BY 5PM FRIDAY 13TH MARCH 2015:

Biggin Hill Airport (BHA) have made a formal application to significantly increase operating hours from 89.5 per week (or 99.5 including the limited access ‘shoulder hours’) up to 114 hours per week; many more than similar comparative airports.
KVRA recognise that there will be different views on these additional hours; however on balance the Committee feels that the majority of Keston Village residents are against the prospect and implications of an increase in air traffic early morning and late evenings.

KVRA considers that the BHA application is poorly timed coming before the Government decision on the location for the additional runway for London. The decision, which LBB will make, will last for the 105 years remaining on the Lease.
