For those who object against planning permission for expansion of the Keston Church of England school, it is vital to have our own independent traffic consultant. And small contributions from as many people as possible will be necessary.
When the council says that they will conduct a survey, the questions raised as to amongst others the time of day that the survey will be held, or who is conducting it, go unsatisfactorily answered. There are too many examples in recent history where when an institution pays the results will show a bias in their favour.
Many hands to the cause make light work. In this respect, if we all commit £10 or £20 pounds to the work, we will have an objective counter assessment.
It is worth mentioning to village residents who are also parents of children at the school, and who object to the expansion, that a reduction in the charitable donations you are possibly paying to the school would help to fund the cost of the survey.
