I’d like to notify you of two sets of upcoming road works on Westerham Road, Keston starting next week, which are both related to the new development on Westerham Road (close to the junction with Fishponds Road).
Southern Gas Networks (SGN) will be completing their gas connection works to the site from Tuesday 18/04/2017 until Friday 21/04/2017 under temporary two way signals. These are the works that were planned last month but were cancelled due to the emergency gas escape works in Croydon Road, Keston. Thames Water will then be completing their water connection works for the site from Monday 24/04/2017 until Tuesday 25/04/2017.
Unfortunately, on this occasion SGN and Thames Water are not able to work collaboratively under the same set of traffic management as their assets fall on the opposite side of the road to one another, meaning that traffic would not be able to pass through if they both worked on site at the same time.
Both utilities will be manually operating their lights during peak times to minimise delays as much as possible. These works are planned consecutively as the final part of Westerham Road that needs to be resurfaced is taking place once these two final planned works have been completed.
If you have any queries, please let me know.
