Emergency Gas Works – Leaves Green Road, Keston

A letter regarding planned emergency gas works in Leaves Green Road, Keston read as follows:

Dear Councillors,

We have emergency gas works on Leaves Green Road, Keston (close to the Blackness Lane junction). Southern Gas Networks (SGN) started their works over the weekend, working under temporary two way signals and are set to be in place until the end of the week. The works are related to a resident having low gas pressure issues and needing a new service relayed from the gas main.

I have requested for SGN to manually control their lights during peak times (07:00-09:30 and 15:30-19:00) to try to minimise delays as much as possible.

These works are very close to the major planned junction works at Heathfield Road / Westerham Road which are also being managed under temporary three way signals.

I’ve informed our comms department and have requested for some information to be updated onto the LBB website and LBB twitter.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Please feel free to share this information

Kind regards
